Theme Thursday [SMELL] #11

Theme Thursdays is a fun weekly event that will be open from one Thursday to the next. Anyone can participate in it. The rules are simple:

  • A theme will be posted each week (on Thursdays)
  • Select a conversation/snippet/sentence from the current book you are reading
  • Mention the author and the title of the book along with your post
  • It is important that the theme is conveyed in the sentence (you don’t necessarily need to have the word)
Ex: If the theme is KISS; your sentence can have “They kissed so gently” or “Their lips touched each other” or “The smooch was so passionate”

This will give us a wonderful opportunity to explore and understand different writing styles and descriptive approaches adopted by authors. Theme Thursdays is hosted by Kavyen @Reading Between Pages.

This weeks theme is - SMELL (Breathe, Anything else you can come up with the nose's functions)

My THURSDAY THEME for SMELL is from here:

Add this book on Goodreads.

The smell of chocolate chips and macadamia nuts reached my room by the time I'd finished putting my clothes away.

[and one more snippet...]

I held my breathe as I pulled myself upright, careful not to move my rib cage any more than absolutely necessary.

  1. What a cool post, I love the cover for Fracture. I'll have to add it to my TBR list.

    TAG you're it!

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read my post, I really appreciate it. :) Feel free to leave a comment below, I love reading them and I always try to visit everyone back. *MUAH*
