Theme Thursday [School] - 1#

Theme Thursdays is a fun weekly event that will be open from one Thursday to the next. Anyone can participate in it. The rules are simple:
  • A theme will be posted each week (on Thursdays)
  • Select a conversation/snippet/sentence from the current book you are reading
  • Mention the author and the title of the book along with your post
  • It is important that the theme is conveyed in the sentence (you don’t necessarily need to have the word)
Ex: If the theme is KISS; your sentence can have “They kissed so gently” or “Their lips touched each other” or “The smooch was so passionate”
This will give us a wonderful opportunity to explore and understand different writing styles and descriptive approaches adopted by authors.
Theme Thursdays is hosted by Kavyen @ Reading Between Pages.

This weeks theme is -

SCHOOL (Anything related to school - teachers, students, children, books, desks, boards, pens etc )

This will be a new weekly meme I will be starting. I hope everyone enjoys it and will find some new books to read in the process.

A Job From Hell - Written by Jayde Scott

I nodded, remembering the huge oak table I forgot to polish.
"I'll bring it up. Do you go to school? Or College?" The words snaked their way out of my mouth before I could stop them. Was there even a college in Inverness?

  1. Good pick for the theme this week!

    Here's mine:

  2. Thanks for participating and welcome onboard... Great quote and you got school and college in the same sentence. How impressive is that!

Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read my post, I really appreciate it. :) Feel free to leave a comment below, I love reading them and I always try to visit everyone back. *MUAH*
